Following on from Neil’s post I have had a look at Connacht, a team I curse as much as admire. As a Leinster fan, Connacht has caused me despair and ruined a couple of good weekends in Galway over the years.
Here in the TDC cave we drew straws to decide what team we would be talking about at the end of the season. I drew Munster and Ulster. I am convinced that Dave had the draw rigged. He distracted me with a life sized dummy of Brian O’Driscoll.
I am quite sad that the season is over, this was a great one. All of the Irish teams played well. The top two (Leinster and Ulster) played well in the business end of the season and fought to the death in the rabo final. Connacht showed more consistency than last year and Munster….
Ahead of this weekend’s Amlin Challenge Cup Final between Leinster and Stade Francais, I decided to take a look at the all singing, all dancing showbiz French rugby side that divides opinion both at home and abroad. Once again it is time to feature some of the best recent fails that the internet has to offer, thanks to Fail Army. April featured plenty of broken glass, faceplants, horse kicks, serious injuries and probably a couple of deaths for good measure.
